AEW Dynamite – 22nd July 2020 Result And Review
Preview: After a wild “FIGHT FOR THE FALLEN” last week that saw Jon Moxley retain his World Title over Brian Cage, Cody retain his TNT Championship against Sonny Kiss, The Elite reunite, Nyla unite with Vickie Guerrero, and the Lucha Brothers clash with FTR, it’s time to hit the airwaves once again!
Match 1: Cody vs. Eddie Kingston – TNT Championship Match.
Bell ring, Cody TNT Championship open challenge was accepted by Kingston who is a veteran wrestler. Cody did retain his title via submission.
Winner: Cody.
Match 2: MJF vs. Griff Garrison.
Bell rings, MJF tried to roast Garrison, to which Garrison addressed the fact that MJF did lose his match a few weeks ago, which made MJF angry. MJF got his impressive win once again.
Winner: MJF.

Match 3: The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. The Butcher & The Blade – Falls Count Anywhere Match.
Bell rings, several weeks ago, Matt and Nick were the victims of an assault from Butcher and Blade, the attack would ultimately announce the arrival of FTR into AEW when Dax and Cash would save the brothers from the attack. Now, these two teams will face each other in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. The Young Bucks won the match and proved that they are the best in the business.

Bell rings, as Diamante and Velez collide in singles action, Diamante picked her to win.

Match 5: World Tag Team Champion Hangman Adam Page vs. Five (w/ Mr. Brodie Lee)
Bell rings, everybody knows that Five will not be alone in this match, one must ask if Page will be battling solo or if the other half of the World Tag Team Champions will have his back opposite The Dark Order. Page emerged as the winner despite the odds. After the match, Brodie Lee and his team tried to attack Page, to which Kenny Omega and FTR comes out to help Page.

Match 6: The Inner Circle (“The DemoGod” Chris Jericho & Jake Hager) vs. Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus & Jungle Boy).
Bell ring, Jurassic Express may find themselves in the brunt of The Inner Circle’s fury on Wednesday night when Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus contend with Jericho and Jake Hager in the tag team competition. Jurassic Express might be heading into a tremendous fight in-store for them. At the closing moments, Serpentico attacked Jurassic Express and this allowed Jericho to deliver the code breaker and win the match. Later it was revealed that Serpentico was nonother than, Inner Circle’s very own, Sammy Guevara. They then continued to attack Jurassic Express, seeing this Orange Cassidy and Best Friends comes out to save Jurassic Express.
