Arn Anderson Claims John Cena Didn’t Want AJ Styles To Be Hired In WWE

According to Arn Anderson, he claims that John Cena didn’t feel the need to hire AJ Styles and two other wrestlers, top tag team heel in TNA Wrestling, Beer Money, Inc. Bobby Roode (Robert Roode) and James Storm.

In his podcast, Anderson revealed a conversation with Cena and said, “It would really beef up the company if we went out and stole Bobby Roode, AJ Styles, and ‘The Cowboy’ James Storm. If you brought those 3 guys in it would give you a whole plethora of new opponents, it would give a lot of guys new opponents.’ John looked at me and said, ‘We’ve got NXT, we make our own stars.”

Thankfully WWE did sign Styles, Roode, and Storm later, Storm them left WWE and choose not to sign another contract. Roode has been a good mechanic for WWE but not as much as Styles.
