Brian Cage Talks About Making His Move From Impact Wrestling To AEW

Former Impact Wrestling Superstar Brian Cage was the guest on Excuse Me: The Vickie Guerrero Show, where he spoke about somethings he regrets during his time in Impact Wrestling.

He said that he did suffer a couple of injures in Impact Wrestling where he hurt his back and hip, that was the first one and he worked through it, then he won the World Title there but never compete a lot, coming back he claimed that he has some good matches there. He then said that people kept of saying that he is more injury prone, which he cleared by saying that there is a thin line between being hurt and injured. He never had any surgery in his career no matter what injury he had, until he tore his bicep which he says was awful as he was scared because it happend during his last days in Impact Wrestling.

Cage was upset that no one will hire him with a torn bicep, he did think that AEW should hire him as he was getting many offers from various promotions. Two doctors told him that he doesn’t need surgery but he still got an MRI just in case.

Later he said that he was talking to Tony Khan and he got an offer to be signed by AEW without wasting any time for AEW Double or Nothing (READ/WATCH). Khan was not worried about his injury as he gave Cage some time to heal up and he loved having him in his team, this class act by Khan does speak what kind of a man he is.

Cage’s Impact Wrestling run didn’t go well as he is heavily build he could have done a lot of things there, but never the less, Cage will be fighting against Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship at Fyter Fest which will put him at the top of the card in AEW.
