Four-Time World Champion Roman Reigns has been away from WWE since he was been pulled out from Wrestlemania 36, as we all know that he was suppose to face Goldberg for the Universal Championship but instead Braun Strowman took his place and won the title.
Currently Strowman is doing a good job in filling Reigns’ role, but the big question here is when will he return for in-ring action. Reigns’ recent quote looks like it won’t be soon as he is putting his family’s health first. He also spoke that WWE is a safe place to work, he says, “WWE has done everything that they can to make it the safest work environment possible, is not the workplace that I was necessarily concerned about. The decision was taken mainly because each performer travels so much, and we are all such a diverse group and from all over the place. I’m not convinced, and I can’t trust the fact the everybody is taking it as seriously and locking themselves down at home like I am.”
He continued, “I trust my life with my co-workers every time I step foot in the ring, but I just can’t put the same trust when it has my children, my wife and family involved,” Reigns’ comments toward WWE to make it a safe environment is laughable possible because if they would have, then they would have implemented testing from the start. Reigns could take all the precautions to safeguard his family but his co-workers may not do the same. On the other hand as WWE is tapings all their shows at Florida, and Florida is having the highest number of cases so the answer would be, Reigns won’t be seen for a very long time when it pretty much 90% safe.
