Tessa Blanchard was terminated from Impact Wrestling last week and also has been stripped from the Impact World Championship title. Many questions have raised between Blanchard and Impact Wrestling on how this relationship broke down.
Apart from this WWE has expressed their feelings to sign Blanchard after this news broke out, Blanchard was in WWE during 2013 for the Mae Young Classic where she lost to Kairi Sane after that she was part of NXT for a couple of occasions and also for WWE Network where she fought against Nia Jax and others. There was a word to sign her back then but she signed with Impact Wrestling instead. For the last two years, Blanchard was a force of nature in Impact and dominated both men and women roster. She had an amazing feud with Gail Kim and later became Knockouts Champion and also the first female to hold Impact World Heavyweight Championship in the history.
She also had a series of matches with Sami Callihan which was brilliant, sadly that relationship broke down. She was scheduled to appear on Slammiversary they then had plans for her to drop the title in an episode, then they asked them to send a promo to hype a match she was scheduled for which she didn’t send that as well. All this lead to a bad turn in her relationship with Impact Wrestling. As a fan we never predicted her time with Impact could end this way.
In the month of January many wrestlers took on social media to express that Blanchard has been bullying many stars backstage, she did speak on this partially but we never got to know the exact story. This bullying might continue if she joins WWE.
